It was Presence all along.
The card that ran away is a Presence Pass. It checks you in at the door, gets you a lift home, picks up the kids with a code, and dresses up for every occasion.
Tap the card to turn it over.
Four things, one card.
It checks you in
Hold up your phone at the door. The scanner is a phone your church already has, so there is nothing to buy and no queue.
It gets you home
Ask for a lift from your pass. A leader pairs you with someone driving your way, and the car and its plate show on your pass.
It picks up the kids
Drop the children off with your pass and a four-digit code comes back to you. Only that code collects them.
It dresses for the day
Christmas, Easter, a birthday, a new year. The pass changes with the occasion, in Wallet and on the web.
